About this role

SOL Mental Health is seeking a licensed clinical therapist to join their Downtown D.C. office and provide direct mental health care to adults, young adults, and children. You'll need an active independent license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC) and experience in clinical care. The role involves delivering evidence-based treatment, managing crisis interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation—core responsibilities for any therapist position.

What distinguishes this opportunity is the operational structure behind it. SOL handles admin, billing, and marketing support, meaning you focus on clinical work rather than practice management. You'll work within an integrated care model alongside other disciplines, with monthly learning opportunities and group supervision built into the culture. The compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 and includes a base guarantee plus hour-based incentives, along with standard benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, $1,500 annual CEU budget, and professional liability coverage.

This role suits someone who values collaboration and ongoing professional development and prefers a supported team environment over solo practice. If you're an independently licensed clinician ready to practice in a clinician-centered setting with built-in referrals and administrative backing, this is worth exploring.
