About this role
Interstates is looking for someone to build and deliver technical training that helps Project Management teams get up to speed and stay sharp. You'd work primarily with APM 1 and APM 2 employees, developing materials and teaching them systems like WBS, Intertrak, ASTA, Estimating, O3, AWP, and Spectrum. The role sits within the PM Home Base and involves partnering with leadership and subject matter experts to identify what training is needed, then creating practical, easy-to-understand learning activities that actually stick.
This is a good fit if you're a strong communicator who enjoys teaching and can translate technical processes into plain language. Project Management experience or familiarity with PM systems is preferred, as is prior training or instructional experience, but the company values technical aptitude and the ability to learn systems quickly. You'd travel about 25–30% of the time to support training across Interstates locations, with the base position in Sioux Falls, Sioux Center, or Omaha depending on business needs.
You'll need at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and you should be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with others. The role offers long-term remote flexibility as a possibility once you've established yourself, though you'll start in-office to build relationships and understand the systems and culture firsthand.
