About this role
Interstates is looking for someone to build and lead technical training for their Project Management teams from one of three Midwest locations. You'd develop curriculum and deliver instruction focused on core PM systems—WBS, Intertrak, ASTA, Estimating, O3, AWP, and Spectrum—primarily supporting early-career project managers (APM 1 and APM 2 levels). The work involves creating training materials, identifying skill gaps with PM leadership and subject matter experts, and continuously refining how effectively teams adopt these processes and tools.
This role suits someone who enjoys teaching and translating technical concepts into practical, digestible formats. You'll need strong communication and facilitation skills, comfort working both independently and collaboratively, and the ability to build relationships across varying experience levels. Prior experience in Project Management, construction, or engineering is preferred, as is any background in training development or instructional design, though not required. You should be prepared for roughly 25–30% travel to support training across Interstates' locations.
The position offers long-term remote flexibility as a possibility once you've established yourself in the role. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected, along with a solid technical aptitude for learning and teaching business systems.
