About the Role
Cipher Digital is hiring a Business Analyst to support our IT organization as we continue to roll out and mature enterprise platforms, including ServiceNow. This role is a generalist business analyst position — the core skill set is requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder facilitation. Exposure to ServiceNow is a plus, but deep platform expertise is not required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Document, and write clear user stories/requirements for the development team
- Align stakeholders on process design before build
- Facilitate workshops and demos to build stakeholder consensus
- Support UAT, training, and adoption for new rollouts
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical/implementation teams
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of solid business analysis experience across any platform or domain
- Strong requirements-gathering and process-mapping skills
- Experience translating business needs into functional specs or user stories
- Strong facilitation skills — comfortable running workshops with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong coordination skills — able to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and moving pieces at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms a plus
- Background in change management or user adoption/training a plus

You'd be the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, owning the full cycle from requirements gathering and process mapping through user adoption and training.
The role is built around core business analysis fundamentals rather than deep platform expertise. You'll facilitate workshops with non-technical stakeholders, translate their needs into clear user stories for developers, align teams on process design, and support UAT and rollouts. This is a generalist position that rewards strong facilitation, coordination, and communication skills—the ability to manage competing priorities and keep multiple stakeholders moving in the same direction. ServiceNow experience is helpful but not required; what matters is five or more years of solid BA work in any domain, paired with a track record of turning messy business problems into structured requirements and functional specs.
