About this role
At C.A. Fortune, you'd own the analytics and insights that drive retail strategy for major brands, with a particular focus on the Albertsons account. This role sits at the intersection of data and business strategy—you'd translate complex retail and consumer data into actionable recommendations that shape pricing, promotions, distribution, and shelf placement decisions. You'd work across syndicated data platforms like SPINS, Nielsen, and IRI to uncover opportunities, then present those findings to both internal sales teams and client stakeholders, functioning as a trusted advisor who influences go-to-market strategy.
The position demands strong analytical chops and storytelling ability in equal measure. You'll need advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint alongside expertise in category management principles and data platforms, but the real value you'll deliver is synthesizing that complexity into clear, compelling narratives that drive decisions. The role involves supporting 1-5 top clients through reporting, category reviews, and business analyses, with occasional travel (10-20%) to present recommendations.
This is best suited for someone with at least five years in CPG—ideally in natural, specialty, or organic food and beverage—who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a track record of turning data into process improvements. Prior Albertsons or SymphonyAI experience would set you apart. The hybrid setup in Boise offers flexibility, and the compensation range is $85,000–$95,000 depending on background.
