About this role

Soho House & Co.'s Mumbai club is seeking an IT Assistant to handle both conventional IT support and specialized audiovisual and cinema operations. You'll be the first point of contact for technical issues affecting members and staff, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, coordinating vendor repairs, and managing equipment installations and upgrades. A significant part of the role involves operating and maintaining cinema projection systems, AV equipment, and presentation technology for screenings, events, and member functions—requiring you to keep these systems operational and support clients during live use.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics, with one to three years of IT support experience. You should be a capable troubleshooter with strong communication skills and a genuine customer focus. Prior exposure to AV, cinema, or event technology is valued but not essential; what matters more is your willingness to learn and your comfort working flexible hours including evenings and weekends to support a members' club environment.

This role offers a practical entry or mid-level position in IT within a premium hospitality setting, combining standard support responsibilities with hands-on experience in specialized cinema and AV systems—a useful combination if you're interested in broadening your technical skill set beyond conventional IT work.
