Job Summary: To develop and grow both relationships and revenue within the region ensuring that we continue to further our mission of Improving Patient Care. With a full understanding of the role and the business, grow the region in line with company targets whilst delivering a timely & robust recruitment service to both candidates & clients alike with a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & generating referrals, database mining, sourcing via social media, selling the agency/opportunity.
  • Pipeline management: prioritizing, building & maintaining relationships & supporting compliance in collecting documentation.
  • Obtaining and updating candidate availability.
  • Management of candidate database ensuring all notes are on the system.
  • Proactively resolving candidate queries/issues.
  • Source new nurses and nurture existing nurses, and handling cancellations from clients and candidates.
  • Stakeholder management with colleagues in compliance, sales, and payroll.
  • Manage basic payroll queries, chase missing timesheets, manage and support rejected timesheets, releasing timesheets from the team.
  • Follow-up call after the first shift: Ensuring service levels remain high.
  • Welfare calls to workers, promoting a strong customer experience.
  • Developing client relationships & maximizing opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills are a must.
  • Committed to a high level of service delivery for clients and candidates.
  • A graduate or undergraduate degree is required.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working US shifts and from the office.

ICG Medical is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to build and manage relationships across the healthcare staffing market in Cape Town, with responsibility for growing both candidate pipelines and revenue in line with regional targets. The role sits at the intersection of recruitment operations and client service, requiring you to source nurses and healthcare workers through database mining, social media, and referrals while maintaining a robust pipeline of active candidates and managing their availability and documentation. You'll also handle candidate welfare calls, resolve queries proactively, coordinate with internal teams across compliance and payroll, and conduct follow-ups after placements to ensure service standards remain high.

This is a full-office role that demands strong communication skills, organizational discipline, and genuine commitment to service delivery. You'll need to be comfortable working US shift hours and managing multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously—from nurturing candidate relationships to developing client opportunities and supporting colleagues with payroll administration.
