About this role

Code and Theory's Enterprise Transformation practice needs someone to orchestrate complex, multi-workstream client programs from conception through delivery. As Program Director, you'd own end-to-end execution across a portfolio of engagements, translating strategic direction into structured, repeatable delivery approaches while managing the dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations that come with enterprise-scale digital transformation work. You'd report on program health through executive-ready metrics, protect margins through disciplined scoping and resource management, and maintain the operational clarity that keeps cross-functional teams—strategy, creative, technology, and commercial—moving in sync.

This role demands someone with 10+ years leading complex programs in an agency or professional services setting, with proven skill managing multiple concurrent workstreams, client relationships, and financial performance. You should be comfortable in ambiguous environments where offerings evolve and delivery must be structured without becoming rigid. Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud or Salesforce is valuable; so is exposure to regulated or high-tech industries. Beyond execution, you'd mentor and develop a matrixed team of program managers and producers, modeling a leadership style grounded in ownership and accountability.

The position is remote and based in New York, with a salary range of $170,000–$210,000. It's suited to someone who thrives balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, who can build trust with Fortune 100 clients while empowering internal teams, and who sees operational excellence as the foundation for shipping high-quality work efficiently.
