What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking a Client-Side Project Manager to deliver projects on behalf of our clients from feasibility through to completion.
You will act as the client’s trusted advisor, managing consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure commercial, programme, and quality objectives are achieved.
This role offers genuine responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to work on significant projects within a supportive, high-performing team.
Salary Range
$150,000 - $200,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

About this role
MGAC Australia is looking for a Senior Project Manager to represent clients' interests across major projects from start to finish. You'll work client-side, acting as their trusted advisor while managing consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to meet commercial, programme, and quality targets. This is a contract role based in Melbourne offering direct client exposure and genuine responsibility within a boutique consultancy environment.
The position requires seven or more years in contract administration, project management, or project coordination roles with a main contractor, plus a tertiary qualification. You'll need strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven organisational ability, and the confidence to operate as a collaborative team player in a high-performing setting. Australian work rights are essential.
The salary range is $150,000 to $200,000 annually, adjusted for experience and expertise, with potential bonuses and additional benefits included in the full compensation package.
