THE ROLE
We’re looking for travel enthusiasts with a passion for guest service for our depot in 107 Harris Road, East Tāmaki, Howick 2013, New Zealand. Reporting directly to the Branch’s Operations Supervisor, as a Casual Employee in a Support & Cleaning role, your mission will be to ensure an outstanding level of customer service and contribute to maintaining our fleet of campervans in top condition.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests;
- Verify and prepare and equip vans before each booking;
- Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition;
- Moving and parking vans or picking clients from the airport;
- Clean and maintain all equipment, extras and consumables stored at the depot;
- Deliver and collect cars from repairs and maintenance, or delivering vehicles to specific locations.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Valid Driver's licence and ability to drive a van (plus);
- Availability to work irregular schedules, weekends and national holidays;
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods;
- Eye for cleanliness and inspection;
- Communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Immediate availability.

Indie Campers is hiring a casual cleaner for its Auckland depot to support the preparation and maintenance of its campervan fleet. You'd report to the Branch Operations Supervisor and handle vehicle cleaning to company standards, pre-booking inspections, equipment maintenance, and occasional driving tasks like moving vans or collecting clients from the airport. The role demands attention to detail, physical stamina for extended periods of walking, crouching, and standing, and strong communication skills.
