About this role

DRW's Cumberland and FICC Options team is building the data infrastructure that powers trading decisions across options and delta-one strategies. As a Data Engineer here, you'd own the full lifecycle of trading datasets—designing ingestion pipelines, implementing quality controls, and collaborating with traders and researchers to ensure data flows reliably at scale. The work spans internal data generation, vendor integrations, and creating annotations that support both current analysis and future AI applications.

This role demands solid experience with Python data engineering, a working knowledge of options and futures products, and real expertise in financial time-series data and point-in-time correctness. You'll need to have built data quality and monitoring systems before, and you should be comfortable moving quickly in a trading environment where data issues have immediate consequences. The position is based in Chicago and requires in-office presence.

The salary range is $150,000 to $200,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus eligibility and standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and disability coverage.
