About this role
Takealot.com's Retail Media Growth Manager role sits at the intersection of client strategy and revenue growth, requiring someone who can translate deep product and market knowledge into concrete sales results. You'd own the retail media relationship with a portfolio of high-value clients, building customized business plans that account for their GMV ambitions, competitive positioning, and seasonal dynamics. This means collaborating closely with internal buyers and account managers to advise on everything from campaign strategy to stock availability, then executing category-specific growth initiatives and monitoring performance end-to-end.
The role demands five years of client-facing or account management experience in retail media, digital advertising, or marketing, with a proven track record of hitting sales targets and driving upsells. You'll need strong planning skills, fluency with CRM tools, and the ability to own campaigns from conception through post-campaign analysis and quarterly business reviews. eCommerce experience is a bonus. Beyond the credentials, takealot.com is looking for someone comfortable with ownership, collaboration, and honest feedback in a fast-paced, high-growth environment—someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
