About this role
Morgan & Morgan's Houston office is building its pre-litigation team and looking for an attorney to manage the early stages of personal injury cases, primarily general liability matters. You'd handle the full pre-suit workflow—from initial case assessment through demand package preparation and settlement negotiations—while shepherding clients through the process and completing required approvals and documentation. The role involves leading a team of 6-10 case managers, driving compliance metrics, and overseeing tasks like recorded statements, EUOs, and PIP statements.
This position suits someone with at least one year of personal injury experience who can juggle high volume efficiently and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams alike. You'll need strong writing and advocacy skills, solid leadership instincts, and the self-direction to move cases forward. The firm emphasizes that this is a stepping stone toward trial work, so it's a good fit if you're building a long-term career in litigation rather than looking for a purely administrative role.
The job is full-time and in-office in Houston. Morgan & Morgan offers standard benefits including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. You must hold an active Texas bar license in good standing and a law degree from an accredited school.
