About this role
Figma is seeking an Account Executive to build and manage a mid-market sales territory in Sydney, targeting companies with 500–2000 employees. You'll own the full sales cycle from pipeline generation through deal closure, using discovery and value-selling techniques to engage technical executives in engineering, product, and design. Success means consistently hitting revenue targets while identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts and driving enterprise-wide adoption across Figma's product suite.
This role demands several years of proven SaaS sales experience, with a track record of closing deals with executive buyers and managing complex sales cycles lasting three to nine months. You'll need strong skills in territory planning, self-sourced pipeline generation through outbound activity and networking, and the ability to navigate multi-threaded deals across different business units. Experience selling to technical audiences and growing customer relationships through land-and-expand motions is essential.
You'll work from Figma's Sydney office in a hybrid arrangement, representing the company at customer meetings, community events, and executive engagements across the ANZ region. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced sellers, build a cross-functional network, and develop your career while helping teams bring design collaboration to life.
