About this role
IMA Financial Group is hiring a Certificate Technician in Dallas as an entry point into insurance work, with the explicit goal of developing you into a service role over time. You'll process certificates of insurance, handle client and internal requests, review policies for coverage accuracy, and maintain documentation in IMA's systems—all with structured training and regular feedback as you build independence. The role sits at the intersection of administrative work and client service, requiring you to learn insurance fundamentals while supporting experienced teams.
No insurance background is necessary; the company provides full training on its software platforms and certificate standards. You'll need strong attention to detail, comfort with MS Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Previous administrative, customer service, or detail-oriented work helps, as does a two-year degree, but neither is required. The contract position pays $44,000–$54,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, disability coverage, and professional development support.
This role suits someone motivated to learn a new industry from the ground up and ready to grow into a larger service function. IMA emphasizes team collaboration and long-term development, so it's worth considering if you want structured entry into insurance rather than a short-term assignment.
