THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an AI-first ITS Engineer with strong Application Packaging expertise to join our growing team at Agilisys.
In this role, you’ll work across Application Packaging, Endpoint Management, Cloud Deployment, and Automation, helping modernise IT operations through AI-driven and scalable solutions. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where automation, innovation, and operational efficiency are at the core of what we do.
ABOUT YOU:
Must-Have's
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune for application packaging, deployment, and endpoint management.
- Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and a good understanding of Windows Registry, File System internals, and deployment workflows.
- Experience managing application packaging, deployment, patching, and remediation processes in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to vulnerability management and patch lifecycle activities using tools such as WSUS, Active Directory, or endpoint security solutions.
- An AI-first mindset with interest or experience leveraging Generative AI tools to improve efficiency across packaging, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and operational tasks.
- Hands-on experience using automation or AI-assisted tools to streamline IT operations and deployment workflows.
Desired Skills
- Experience with InstallShield, ORCA, VBScript, or related packaging technologies.
- Microsoft or vendor certifications (Intune, SCCM, Windows, Azure, ITIL).
- Experience supporting enterprise or regulated environments.

Agilisys is seeking an AI Application Packaging Engineer to join their Mumbai office and lead modernisation of IT operations through application packaging, endpoint management, and automation. You'll work across SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and cloud deployment platforms, supporting enterprise clients in the public services sector. The role demands hands-on expertise in packaging workflows, patch management, and vulnerability remediation—combined with a forward-thinking approach to using generative AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across deployment and troubleshooting tasks.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of direct experience with SCCM and Intune, strong PowerShell scripting skills, and deep knowledge of Windows systems and enterprise deployment processes. Beyond technical credentials, Agilisys values high agency, ownership, and outcome-focused thinking: you'll be expected to anticipate problems, drive end-to-end solutions, and communicate technical risks clearly to UK-based stakeholders. Certifications in Microsoft technologies or ITIL, experience with packaging tools like InstallShield, and exposure to regulated environments are advantageous.
This is a full-time, in-office role reporting to the Service Director.
