About this role

Morgan & Morgan's Charleston office is building out its personal injury practice and needs a Pre-Suit Litigation Attorney to manage motor vehicle accident cases before they reach court. You'd handle the full pre-litigation lifecycle—from guiding clients through the process to drafting demand packages, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing release approvals. The role requires West Virginia bar membership and at least two years of personal injury experience, with a strong ability to juggle high case volumes while maintaining excellent client communication.

Beyond case work, you'd lead a team of 6 to 10 Case Managers, driving compliance with firm KPIs and overseeing tasks like recorded statements and PIP documentation. This is an in-office position in Charleston that suits someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with both legal writing and team management. The firm offers standard benefits including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays for full-time staff.
