About this role
Morgan & Morgan's New York office is looking for a Pre-Suit Attorney to manage general liability cases from intake through settlement negotiations. You'd handle the full pre-litigation workflow—drafting demand packages, guiding clients through the process, obtaining approvals, and overseeing settlement discussions. The role also involves leading a team of 6-10 Case Managers and ensuring compliance with firm KPIs, so you'd need strong leadership skills alongside your legal expertise.
This position suits someone with at least a year of general liability or personal injury experience who can juggle high case volume while maintaining excellent client communication. You'll need an active New York bar license, superior writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously. The firm emphasizes long-term career growth and operates across all 50 states, so there's room to develop within a larger organization focused on consumer rights.
The role is full-time and in-office at the Seaport location, with a salary range of $100,000–$125,000 and standard benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays.
