About this role
KKR's reinsurance business needs someone to build and maintain the actuarial models that power Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet valuations while also leading the onboarding process for new reinsurance deals. You'd own model development and enhancement, manage data integration workflows, and ensure these processes meet regulatory standards. The role also involves transferring pricing methodologies into valuation frameworks and automating data processes to scale deal integration—meaning you'd be bridging actuarial, pricing, data, and technology teams to keep complex workflows running smoothly.
This position calls for an FSA or equivalent actuarial fellowship and solid foundational modeling experience, ideally with exposure to asset-liability modeling, US life and annuity products (variable annuities, fixed index annuities, and similar), and valuation principles under US GAAP and Bermuda EBS rules. You should be comfortable with actuarial systems and data workflows, able to work across functions, and willing to experiment with emerging technology. Clear communication of technical findings and the ability to juggle multiple priorities matter as much as the technical depth.
Based in Des Moines and in-office, the role offers a salary of $170,000 to $180,000 plus discretionary bonus eligibility. You must already be authorized to work in the US; KKR is not sponsoring visas for this position.
