What You’ll Do:
- Empower Independence:
- Support members with developmental disabilities in their daily routines and activities.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and personal hygiene tasks.
- Build Meaningful Connections:
- Foster trust and companionship through respectful, engaging interactions.
- Promote Safety & Wellbeing:
- Implement behavior support strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Collaborate for Impact:
- Work with supervisors and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

About this role
Pathways for Life is seeking an in-home caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Surprise, Arizona area. The role centers on helping clients with daily living activities—meal preparation, personal hygiene, and routine tasks—while building trust through respectful interaction. You'll also implement behavior support strategies and work collaboratively with supervisors to ensure each person's safety, comfort, and dignity remain the priority.
This is a part-time position with two scheduling options: weekday evenings (Monday–Friday, roughly 3–9 pm) or flexible hours on Thursdays and Saturdays or Sundays, with potential to expand over time.
