About this role
IXL Learning is looking for someone to lead curriculum alignment work on its math products, overseeing how IXL's skill library connects to state standards, textbooks, and assessments across U.S. schools. You'd manage a team of contract aligners, review their alignment documents for quality, and use internal tools to create and release these alignments into the system. Beyond day-to-day oversight, you'd drive special projects that require coordination across sales, engineering, curriculum design, and QA teams—defining scope, solving problems, and ensuring alignment work meets both technical and educational standards.
The role demands at least a year of hands-on experience aligning content to state standards, with proven math expertise through calculus. You'll need strong project management skills to juggle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, solid Excel or Google Sheets ability (ideally including formulas like vlookup), and familiarity with state standards across multiple states. Background in web technologies, programming, or databases is valued but not required. This is a contract position based in the Raleigh office, suited for someone who wants to directly influence how millions of U.S. students access personalized math learning.
