About this role
Jane Street is seeking a logistics and supply chain professional to oversee the movement, installation, and lifecycle management of IT equipment across their offices, data centers, and co-located facilities. The role spans the full supply chain—from coordinating warehouse operations and call-off processes to managing multi-site equipment deployments, working with procurement on inventory levels, and handling international customs and import/export logistics. You'd also drive process improvements, troubleshoot logistics issues, and manage relationships with warehousing providers and third-party vendors.
This position requires at least five years of logistics and project management experience, ideally in IT or data center settings. You should have a track record of streamlining processes, managing vendors effectively, and maintaining real-time inventory accuracy. Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills are essential, along with demonstrated ability to plan resources, solve problems under pressure, and communicate clearly across teams. Experience with asset transfer management is valued but not required.
The role is based in New York and requires in-office presence. It's best suited for someone comfortable juggling multiple priorities, coordinating across internal teams and external partners, and taking ownership of operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.
