About this role

Avepoint is hiring an Account Executive in Melbourne to own new business development within mid-market organisations (300–2000 employees). You'll identify and close deals by executing go-to-market strategies aligned with current trends, then shepherd those customers through adoption and growth. The role blends traditional account management with pipeline building—you'll maintain CRM discipline, nurture relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, and coordinate with both internal teams and channel partners (SIs, VARs, MSPs) to expand AvePoint's Confidence platform footprint in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Success here requires at least two years of SaaS or cloud software sales experience, ideally with exposure to channel selling and executive-level relationship building. You should be comfortable with sales methodologies, able to read data and forecast accurately, and driven by accountability. Business development experience is a plus but not essential if your Account Executive background is strong.

The hybrid setup offers three days in office weekly, competitive compensation, and a benefits package that includes private health insurance, enhanced PTO (including birthday and community service days), tuition reimbursement, and mobile phone reimbursement. There's also scope for career progression across AvePoint's global offices in North America, EMEA, and APAC.
