About this role
Edelweiss Global Markets is looking for an analyst to join its structured products team in Mumbai, where you'll work on the quantitative and operational side of a multi-strategy trading business. The role centers on pricing and modeling—you'll build and calibrate derivatives pricing models, construct volatility surfaces and yield curves, and conduct back-testing and stress-testing to support trading decisions. Beyond modeling, you'll manage the full lifecycle of structured products like MLDs, handle trade booking workflows, prepare performance reports, and troubleshoot valuation exceptions as they arise.
This is an entry-level position suited to recent graduates or those with up to three years of experience in quantitative finance or trading support. You'll need a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, or physics, plus hands-on coding ability in Python or R. The role assumes you have a working knowledge of derivatives and financial markets; structured products experience is a bonus but not required. Success here depends on analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly across multiple tasks—from model calibration to desk operations to cross-team coordination with Risk, Technology, and Operations.
