The Opportunity

Stratevi is experiencing an exciting period of growth and is looking for great talent with experience or interest in HEOR (Health Economics & Outcomes Research) to join our team at the Senior Research Associate level. This opportunity is based in our Boston office.

This Senior Research Associate role may work across the HEOR team, supporting our RWE and/or Health Economic homebases.

  • Within the RWE division, the role will support primary and secondary research activities, consisting of patient, caregiver, and/or HCP surveys and secondary data analytics of administrative claims, EHR, hospital billing, and/or national survey data sets. In doing so, Senior Research Associates may draft research and/or statistical analysis plans, assist with questionnaire development, and conduct data analytics.
  • Within the Health Economics division, the role will support health economic modeling and strategic initiatives. In doing so, Senior Research Associates may draft model plans, program models, confirm model calculations and functionality, and contribute to strategic initiatives eliciting the value of novel therapies.
  • Activities common to both divisions may include drafting sections of proposals, performing literature reviews, drafting summary or technical reports, contributing to medical writing (abstracts, posters, manuscripts), and providing quality control of deliverables.

While we work with many large biopharma and medical device companies, we also support many smaller and mid-size biotech companies who look to us as their partners throughout their development and commercialization process, which gives you an opportunity to help support and bring some of the most innovative products to market.

Who You Are

You have an advanced degree (PhD, MA, or MS) in life sciences, economics, data science, statistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of consulting experience within life sciences, preferably in the HEOR or RWE space. Expertise in R, Python, SAS, STATA, or Excel/VBA is a plus. You are an enthusiastic advocate of AI, using it daily to enhance your work and moving beyond basic chat-based tools to explore and apply AI more broadly.

You have a strong academic record, excellent problem-solving abilities, oral and written communication skills, quantitative skills, attention to details, and personal maturity. You bring passion, curiosity & creativity to everything you do and are eager to work in a flexible, high-growth environment.

We have offices in the heart of Santa Monica, CA and Boston, MA, and you are excited to work closely and collaborate with colleagues within our dynamic office environment.
