About this role

Ogilvy Social.Lab's Cape Town office is looking for an Online Editor to join a globally connected team producing social and digital content for major international brands. You'd spend your days building edits from creative briefs, colour grading and finishing video, creating graphic social content, and managing audio—working across Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator to deliver polished outputs under tight deadlines. The role involves hands-on collaboration with producers, post-production teams, and creative staff to align edits with project vision, plus the practical work of file management, asset sourcing, and workflow optimization.

This position suits someone with 5–7 years of experience editing both short- and long-form social content who thrives on technical precision and visual storytelling. You'll need strong proficiency in Adobe's creative suite, a solid grasp of colour grading and broadcast standards, and the ability to absorb feedback from multiple stakeholders without losing creative direction. A background in film, media, or related study is expected, along with familiarity with the digital video landscape—ideally with exposure to beauty or lifestyle content.

You'd be based in-office in Cape Town on a full-time contract, working within a WPP agency that emphasizes creative excellence and cross-border collaboration. The role offers exposure to global clients and projects, a competitive package, and a hybrid working policy.
