About this role

Enetk, part of the larger Kelso Industries group, is looking for a Controls System Integrator to design, install, and commission automation systems in energy and industrial facilities across North Dakota. The role demands hands-on expertise in PLC programming—particularly Allen-Bradley and Rockwell platforms—alongside field installation and troubleshooting of control systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial instrumentation. You'll move between the office and job sites, working with electrical schematics, P&IDs, and AutoCAD Electrical to design compliant control panels, then support startup and commissioning in live operational environments.

The position suits someone with at least three years in industrial automation or controls integration, ideally in oil and gas or energy sectors. You'll need an associate degree in instrumentation and controls or equivalent hands-on experience, strong ability to read electrical prints, and comfort troubleshooting motor control circuits and industrial networks. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, hazardous location wiring, and industrial networking infrastructure is valued but not required.

Beyond technical skills, the role includes mentoring instrumentation technicians and coordinating across engineering and field teams to keep projects on schedule. You'll be expected to work independently in the field while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship. This is an in-office position in Dickinson, North Dakota, requiring U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
