About this role

Arizona Liver Health is seeking an experienced APP—either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant—to join their Tucson clinic on a full-time basis. You would work Monday through Friday in a standard clinic schedule, evaluating and managing patients with liver disease in both standard care and clinical trial settings. The role combines direct patient care with a focus on educating patients about therapeutic options and available trials, performing specialized procedures like fibroscans, and working collaboratively with physicians on diagnosis and treatment decisions. You'd be the primary point of contact for your patients and expected to work with considerable autonomy, including managing an on-call rotation.

This position is best suited for someone with at least one year of APP experience in a clinic or hospital setting, ideally with three or more years under your belt and prior exposure to hepatology or gastroenterology. You'll need to be comfortable with independent clinical decision-making, proficient in EMR systems and standard Microsoft applications, and skilled at recognizing and responding to patient concerns. Spanish fluency and prior experience with fibroscans are valued additions. The salary range is $110,000 to $150,000 annually, with the higher end reserved for candidates with proven specialty expertise.

The benefits package includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage with employer HSA contributions, four weeks of PTO, a CME budget with dedicated time off, and a 401(k) with up to 6% company match. You'll complete GCP and IATA training upon hire and must maintain an active Arizona license and required certifications throughout your tenure.
