Description
EBANX is one of the most successful fintechs to emerge from Latin America — and today, we are building a truly global payments company. Our mission has remained constant from day one: to unlock access and enable companies and consumers to participate in the digital economy, no matter where they are.
What started as a bold vision has grown into a platform that connects some of the world’s largest digital businesses with customers across 21 of the fastest-growing markets. We operate where complexity exists — turning local challenges into global opportunities, and building the infrastructure that allows payments to move further, faster, and smarter.
We are a team of builders and problem-solvers. We think globally, act with curiosity, and believe diversity of thought is a competitive advantage.
As EBANX enters its next phase of hyper growth, we are looking for people who want to shape the future of payments, expand what’s possible, and help connect businesses and consumers across borders.
Let’s build what’s next — together.
At EBANX’s Commercial team, you don’t just close deals. You connect merchants who are transforming the most promising emerging markets in the world. Every negotiation and partnership built has a direct impact on our clients’ growth and on EBANX’s expansion, combining strategy, relationships, and collaboration to make our work truly Out Of The Ordinary.
If you’re looking to be part of a company that’s transforming the future of payments with clarity, ambition, and real-world impact — we’d love to meet you.

About this role
EBANX's Treasury team manages the financial infrastructure that keeps payments flowing across emerging markets, and this India-based role sits at the operational center of that work. You'd oversee settlement processes, FX documentation, and remittance execution across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa—acting as the primary liaison with local banks and partners while ensuring reconciliations stay accurate and SLAs are met. The position also involves supporting new market launches in the region and providing backup coverage for African operations, meaning you'd be directly involved in scaling treasury operations as the company expands.
This role demands solid experience in treasury, payments, or financial operations, with a working knowledge of cross-border payments, multi-currency liquidity management, and emerging market regulations like KYC/AML. You'll need strong Excel skills and the ability to handle large datasets; experience with treasury management systems, ERP platforms, or SQL is valued. Advanced English is essential for collaborating with global stakeholders, and familiarity with fintech environments or previous exposure to Southeast Asia, South Asia, or Africa would be an advantage.
EBANX offers performance bonuses, medical and dental coverage, education support for degrees and certifications, language classes, and semi-flexible working arrangements including a birthday day off. The role is in-office in Mumbai and suits someone who thrives in operational complexity and wants to contribute directly to a fintech company's regional growth.
