Description

Join Our Team at Currents Management

Currents Management is redefining what talent management looks like in the creator economy, and we’re just getting started. As one of the fastest growing digital talent firms in the country, we work with some of the most influential and inspiring creators online. Our mission is simple: to unleash the full creative potential of our clients by moving mountains.

We’re looking for a Brand Partnerships Director to join our team and help drive revenue across our entire talent roster. This role is dedicated to one thing: sourcing, pitching, and closing brand partnerships.

You will act as an extension of our Talent Managers in-market, focused entirely on generating opportunities and securing deals while Talent Managers lead execution, talent strategy, and long-term career development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and drive brand partnership opportunities across the Currents roster, from initial outreach through deal close.
  • Build and execute vertical and account strategies, mapping key decision-makers at target brands and agencies and evolving one-off deals into recurring, multi-platform partnerships.
  • Own and grow key brand and agency relationships, with a focus on long-term partnerships vs. one-off deals.
  • Proactively source new business by building relationships with brands and agencies and generating outbound opportunities.
  • Manage inbound requests by qualifying opportunities, identifying the right talent, and moving deals forward efficiently.
  • Develop and customize pitch materials, talent packages, and campaign ideas aligned with brand objectives.
  • Lead deal conversations, structure pricing, and support negotiations in partnership with Talent Managers.
  • Close deals and transition them to the appropriate Talent Manager for execution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pipeline of opportunities, tracking outreach, deal flow, and partnership activity, and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Leverage campaign performance data to inform pitching strategy and improve deal outcomes.
  • Develop case studies and insights decks that demonstrate talent impact and drive repeat business.
  • Represent Currents in external meetings, calls, and industry events to build long-term brand relationships.
  • Develop relationship plans for top accounts, including regular touchpoints, in-person meetings, and proactive ideation.
  • Provide feedback on talent marketability, pricing, and brand fit based on real-time deal insights.
  • Mentor Brand Partnerships Coordinators and help elevate pitching, outreach, and deal execution quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years in brand partnerships, sales, influencer marketing, or an agency environment with exposure to deal-making.
  • A track record of personally sourcing and closing deals, motivated by driving revenue and winning business.
  • Industry fluency: strong understanding of the creator economy, social platforms, and brand partnership dynamics.
  • Clear, confident, and professional in both written and verbal communication.
  • Able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM/pipeline tools to track deal flow and forecast revenue.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working at a top marketing agency, or talent agency in the influencer / creator space
  • Bonus: Existing relationships with brands, agencies, or experience working with digital talent.

About this role

Currents Management is seeking a Brand Partnerships Director to own the full sales cycle for creator partnerships—from sourcing and pitching through closing deals across their roster of digital talent. You'll work in-market as the revenue driver, building and executing strategies with brands and agencies while Talent Managers handle execution and long-term career strategy. The role demands someone who can juggle multiple opportunities simultaneously, develop customized pitches and campaign ideas, manage pipeline discipline, and translate campaign performance data into smarter deal-making. You'll also mentor junior coordinators and provide real-time feedback on talent marketability and pricing.

This role suits someone with 3–6 years in brand partnerships, sales, or influencer marketing who has personally sourced and closed deals. You need fluency in the creator economy and social platforms, strong communication skills, and comfort with CRM tools and revenue forecasting. Experience at a top marketing or talent agency in the influencer space is preferred, and existing relationships with brands or agencies would be a meaningful advantage. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by winning business.

Currents is positioned as one of the fastest-growing digital talent firms in the country. The company emphasizes direct exposure to leadership, influence on scaling decisions, and access to prominent creators and brands—appealing to someone looking to grow quickly within a high-performing, collaborative culture.
