About this role

Brandon J. Broderick is actively expanding its personal injury practice in Charleston and is looking for experienced attorneys with established books of business to join as part-time practitioners. If you're a solo practitioner or small firm owner with at least a decade of PI experience and an existing caseload, this role offers a structured path to scale without sacrificing independence. The firm handles auto accidents, premises liability, and dog bite cases across multiple states, and will integrate your clients into their systems while you maintain autonomy over your relationships and cases.

The appeal here is practical: you'd gain back-office, marketing, and administrative support to eliminate the overhead burden of running a solo practice, while keeping your client base intact and your litigation work front-and-center. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and participate in the firm's market development efforts, but the arrangement is designed around flexibility and your existing practice rather than forcing you into a traditional associate mold. The firm emphasizes a supportive environment and offers standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k matching for eligible part-time employees working over 30 hours weekly.

You'll need a JD, active West Virginia Bar license in good standing, strong litigation and negotiation skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and business needs and will be determined during interviews. This is best suited for practitioners ready to reduce administrative friction and access firm infrastructure without surrendering their independence or client relationships.
