Description
About Cipher Digital
We are an industrial-scale data center construction and operations company. We allocate data center opportunities between bitcoin mining and other high performance computing services, such as AI. About this role
Cipher Digital is building data centers for bitcoin mining and high-performance computing, and this role sits at the critical early stage of that pipeline. As Asset Management Analyst in Origination, you would own the front-end diligence process—shepherding potential sites from initial evaluation through feasibility assessment and into development readiness. This means coordinating environmental and technical studies, tracking entitlements and permits across multiple parcels, managing third-party consultants, and flagging risks to timelines and critical approvals. You'd synthesize all findings into clear site summaries that inform acquisition decisions, working closely with Business Development and Legal teams.
The role suits someone with two to four years of hands-on diligence experience in real estate development, infrastructure, or energy projects. You need comfort reviewing title, survey, zoning, and environmental documents, plus the organizational discipline to track multiple sites simultaneously and catch delays before they derail schedules. Strong written communication is essential—decision-makers depend on your ability to package complex findings concisely. Data center development experience is a plus, as is prior exposure to multi-site portfolios rather than single assets.
This is an in-office position in New York. The company offers standard benefits including 401K with match, medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life and disability insurance.
