Reports To: Managing Director, Asset Management
Compensation Range: 75K-95K base salary with bonus opportunity

You will experience all aspects of real estate investment, development, and operations at this vertically integrated real estate investment and operating company. You will work as part of a collaborative team to evaluate investment opportunities, develop firm-wide strategic initiatives, perform market analyses, report on asset and project performance, and support capital-raising activities.
Investment & Growth
- Asset Strategy. Develop asset strategy that exploits opportunities or overcomes challenges on new and existing Investments.
- Asset Performance. Monitor, evaluate, and report on portfolio asset performance. Analyze financial and operating trends to uncover opportunities and identify potential problems before they occur.
- Asset Financing. Assist with asset financing and maintaining the firm’s debt portfolio by preparing loan packages, evaluating loan proposals, and ensuring loan compliance.
- Quantitative Analysis. Analyze opportunities and risks of new investments and developments.
- Financial Modeling. Prepare financial models (Excel, Argus, etc.) to analyze investments, model project capitalization, perform sensitivity analyses, and pitch investment opportunities to capital partners.
- Market Analysis. Perform market analyses to track and analyze economic, demographic, and real estate market data to draw supportable conclusions that guide investment decisions.
Strategy & Insight
- Value-Add Investment. Evaluate value-add opportunities for portfolio assets.
- Capital Repairs. Partner with asset managers and operations managers to identify, evaluate and plan renovations and other large capital investments.
- Investment Presentation. Develop proposals and investor communications supporting investment decisions based on financial, market, and project analysis.
Requirements
- Top academic performer with a BS/BA in finance, accounting, real estate, business, or related field.
- Two to four years of real estate investment experience utilizing financial analysis, research, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to construct, interpret, and explain complex financial models.
- Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character, who has demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
- Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with Argus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. (Please note: an excel test will be given during the interview process).
- Familiarity with debt and equity structures.
- Ability to understand and abstract legal documents such as leases and purchase and sale agreements.
- Experience compiling economic, demographic, and real estate market data to be used in investment and strategic decision-making.
- Desire and ability to develop relationships through networking and industry events.
- A highly motivated team player eager to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering outstanding results.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
