About this role

ATKG, a San Antonio-based accounting and advisory firm with over 40 years of client service, is seeking a Forensics Manager to lead litigation, forensic, and business valuation engagements. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage the full lifecycle of complex cases—from planning and scoping through expert witness preparation—while overseeing and developing litigation staff. You'll perform technical reviews of valuations and forensic analyses, work directly with clients and attorneys, and take ownership of accuracy and timeliness across all deliverables.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA with valuation credentials (ABV or CVA preferred) and brings three to five years of direct experience in business valuations, transaction advisory, or forensic services. Texas Family Law and estate tax experience is valued. Beyond technical expertise, you'll need strong judgment to anticipate problems, communicate findings clearly to senior leadership, and mentor junior staff through hands-on training and professional development.

ATKG recently joined Ascend, a platform designed to support growth-oriented firms, and emphasizes innovation, collaborative culture, and investment in its people. The role is based in San Antonio and in-office. The firm offers standard benefits, 401k matching, a generous PTO package, and opportunities for career advancement within a team that values positivity, open communication, and client care.
