We build spaces where anyone, with any body, can show up and feel better leaving than they arrived.

About this role

Bathhouse is a wellness-focused social space in Los Angeles offering thermal pools, saunas, and treatments, and they're hiring a Lifeguard Attendant to be the safety and service backbone of their wet areas. You'd spend your shift monitoring pools and plunges, keeping walkways dry and hazard-free, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the polished, welcoming environment that defines their brand. The role blends active surveillance and quick decision-making with attentive customer service—you're both a safety professional and a calm, reassuring presence for guests.

You'll need current CPR/AED and lifeguarding certifications (deep or shallow water), a high school diploma, and the physical stamina to stand throughout long shifts. A Certified Pool Operator certificate is preferred. The job demands reliability, strong communication, and comfort working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is full-time work at $22–$25 per hour, with medical, vision, and dental insurance, plus perks like unlimited facility access, monthly guest passes, and discounts on services and food.

This role suits someone who takes safety seriously, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys helping others feel comfortable in a shared space. If you have the required certifications and are looking for stable full-time work in a contemporary wellness environment, it's worth considering.
