About this role
DataVolt is seeking a SCADA Engineer to oversee the monitoring and control systems that keep its data center operations running smoothly across its global facilities. In this in-office role based in Mumbai, you'll design and implement SCADA solutions for critical infrastructure—HVAC, power management, lighting, and security—while ensuring seamless integration across multiple systems. The position demands hands-on involvement in real-time monitoring, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to maintain the reliability and safety that data center clients depend on.
This role requires substantial expertise: at least eight years working with SCADA systems in substations, data centers, or similar critical environments, combined with proficiency in industry platforms like Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or Siemens. You'll need solid programming skills in languages such as Python or C#, SQL knowledge, and familiarity with network protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and OPC. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
The position suits an experienced engineer ready to take ownership of complex building management systems at a company focused on sustainable data center infrastructure. If you have the technical depth and the background to manage mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment, this could be a strong fit.
