What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our Thirdlove team at our Washington Square location. As the face of our brand, you will create exceptional shopping experiences, build meaningful customer connections, and contribute directly to the store's success. This role is perfect for individuals eager to make an impact in a dynamic and rewarding retail environment.
What You Will Own And How You Will Make A Difference
Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by creating positive and memorable shopping experiences that build brand loyalty. Deliver a warm, welcoming, and personalized fitting and shopping experience in line with the Retail Excellence Protocol.
Sales Support: Assist in achieving store performance goals through effective selling techniques and client engagement.
Store Operations: Participate in general store maintenance, contribute to store cleanliness and upkeep, support operational tasks such as opening and closing duties, and use technology like Shopify, Incite & Google Workspace.
Visual Merchandising: Support visual display initiatives to ensure the store reflects brand standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members, providing support during new store openings, events, and coverage needs across the retail team. Support the initiatives of the leadership team to drive sales, client engagement, team engagement, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.
Adaptability: Remain flexible to support changing store needs, including varied schedules, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Who You Are and What You Have
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience; background in similar category preferred
- Ability to use a ladder, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain an active floor presence, including standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment whilst servicing customers
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a client-facing environment
- Ability to create a safe, body-positive, and supportive environment in the fitting rooms while respecting client privacy.
- Passion for Thirdlove’s mission of body positivity, inclusive sizing, and confidence through comfort
- Problem-Solving Skills: Confidence in ability to handle returns, answer complaints, and fix minor floor issues calmly.
