About this role

ASM is seeking a Sales Manager in Boise to own the Micron relationship—one of the semiconductor industry's most strategically important accounts. You'll operate at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical execution, developing trusted partnerships across Micron's engineering, operations, and leadership while identifying and driving system and service revenue growth. This is a visible role with direct exposure to ASM's senior leadership, where your insights on customer needs and market trends will actively shape the company's strategy and product roadmap.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in technical sales or account management, ideally with semiconductor equipment or materials experience and direct exposure to Micron or similar leading manufacturers. You'll need strong technical credibility to engage credibly with engineering and operations teams, combined with commercial acumen to influence customer decisions and negotiate at the executive level. ASM values autonomy and entrepreneurial thinking, so you should thrive in environments where ideas are acted on quickly and individual ownership drives results.

This role suits someone who wants measurable influence over business outcomes rather than a position buried in bureaucracy. You'll develop account growth plans tied to customer technology roadmaps, lead complex negotiations, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on commitments. A background in semiconductor capital equipment, direct Micron experience, or a proven track record of converting technical insights into growth opportunities would set you apart.
