About this role

Jane Pauley Community Health Center is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician for full-time outpatient work at its Kokomo Pediatrics Health Center. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, JPCHC serves underserved populations across Indiana regardless of ability to pay, and this role sits at the center of that mission. You would provide direct pediatric care to a community with significant healthcare access gaps while working alongside integrated clinical and social support teams designed to reduce your administrative burden and let you focus on patient care.

Beyond clinical duties, the position carries meaningful leadership responsibilities. You would supervise care team members, guide pediatric training and staff education, and lead quality assurance and clinical pathway work. The role also expects participation in community health outreach, managed care programs including Medicaid, and an equitable after-hours call rotation. Prior experience in FQHC or community health settings is highly desirable, and the organization specifically values candidates with leadership experience or interest and a demonstrated commitment to serving underserved populations.

JPCHC offers a standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer contribution, life and disability insurance, and generous PTO. You must hold an MD or DO with active or obtainable Indiana licensure. The position requires strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach—the organization emphasizes this consistently across its materials.
