About this role
Truckstop is looking for an Associate Account Executive to drive new business within the SMB broker segment of its freight logistics SaaS platform. You'd own the full sales cycle—from prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn through virtual product demos to closing deals—working with a consultative approach to understand what small brokers actually need from Truckstop's solutions. The role is based in Truckstop's Boise office and requires you to build and maintain a pipeline while hitting monthly quota targets, with your success measured through both conversion metrics and activity KPIs like calls and connections.
This is an inside sales position suited for someone with customer-facing experience and genuine interest in developing sales skills. You'll need strong communication abilities, self-motivation, and comfort working in Salesforce and Salesloft to track your pipeline and activities. While a bachelor's degree is preferred and freight or SaaS experience is a bonus, what matters most is your willingness to learn the industry and your ability to move quickly on leads. The base salary is $23.08 per hour with commission eligibility; on-target earnings reach approximately $80,000 when full commission is earned.
