About this role

Point72's Technology team is seeking a Senior Privileged Access Management Specialist to lead the design and operation of enterprise-wide access controls protecting critical systems and sensitive data. You'd own the full lifecycle of the privileged access program—from policy development and platform implementation to certification campaigns and audit responses—while partnering across infrastructure, security, cloud, and engineering teams to embed least privilege principles throughout the organization. The role emphasizes both technical depth and program maturity, requiring you to automate manual processes, integrate controls across identity governance and directory services, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve security posture and operational efficiency.

This position demands 8–10 years in information security with substantial hands-on experience in privileged access and identity governance platforms like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or SailPoint. You'll need strong foundational knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth), and compliance frameworks such as SOX, ISO 27001, and NIST. Beyond technical credentials, the role values analytical rigor, cross-functional communication, and the ability to mentor team members as the program evolves.

This is an in-office role in New York with a base salary of $140,000–$200,000, comprehensive health benefits, parental leave, wellness programs, and tuition assistance. Note that this position is listed as volunteer employment, which may warrant clarification during the application process.
