About this role

Digi Security Systems is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join their Dallas office and serve as the technical bridge between customer needs and system design. You'd translate security requirements into detailed, code-compliant designs for low-voltage systems—CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire solutions—working across site assessments, technical drawings, product demonstrations, and collaboration with account managers and field teams. This is a hands-on role that requires both desk work and regular site visits to understand real-world conditions and deliver accurate quotes.

The position demands at least five years in commercial security systems, with deep expertise in access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm components. You'll need strong technical knowledge of low-voltage design principles, solid communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential; experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, or ConnectWise will strengthen your candidacy. The role is fully in-office in Dallas and requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.

This role suits someone with a track record in physical security design who enjoys problem-solving for specific customer environments and can move comfortably between technical detail work and client-facing presentations.
