About this role

Frontline Global Services, now part of Astro Pak, is building its field services team with hands-on technicians who can support precision industrial cleaning and equipment maintenance projects across the country. Based in Houston, this contract position puts you in the field at customer facilities performing high-velocity flushing, chemical cleaning, filtration, decontamination, and related work on pumps, piping, valves, tanks, and specialized equipment. You'll set up and operate temporary systems, assist with inspections and fluid sampling, learn to read technical documentation like P&IDs and safety procedures, and help mobilize and tear down project sites. The work is physically active—standing, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and sometimes working at heights or in confined spaces—and requires flexibility with schedules that include nights, weekends, and 12-hour shifts.

This role demands extensive travel and extended time away from home, sometimes with short notice, so it suits someone genuinely willing to be mobile for weeks at a time. You need mechanical aptitude, a strong safety mindset, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in fast-changing conditions. Previous industrial maintenance, flushing, or field service experience is valuable but not required; the company emphasizes hands-on training and will invest in developing your skills in hydraulics, pipefitting, confined-space work, and industrial systems. Preferred qualifications include OSHA training, a Class A CDL, forklift certification, or a TWIC card, though these are not mandatory to start.

The position offers medical insurance, 401(k) matching, paid travel and standby time, company uniforms, and company-funded training to help you obtain required credentials. If you're mechanically inclined, adaptable to demanding schedules, and ready to build specialized industrial skills on the job, this is a direct entry point into a 65-year-old company serving aerospace, semiconductor, biotech, and data center sectors nationwide.
