About this role
Working overnight at Vermont's only 24/7 emergency and specialty animal hospital means being the first point of contact for pet owners during some of their most stressful moments. As a Client Service Representative at BEVS, you'd manage the front desk operations that keep this complex facility running smoothly—answering multi-line phones, greeting clients warmly, admitting patients, maintaining medical records, processing payments, and fielding questions about basic pet care and preventive products. The role blends customer service skills with enough veterinary exposure to educate clients on routine procedures and over-the-counter treatments.
The position suits someone comfortable with fast-paced office work who genuinely enjoys interacting with both pets and their owners. While prior veterinary reception experience is preferred, it's not required—what matters is solid office fundamentals and the ability to stay organized and professional during busy overnight shifts. BEVS backs its team with comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage, a 401(k) match, generous paid time off, continuing education support, and notably, discounts on veterinary services for your own pets.
