- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for coordinating between multiple stakeholders
- Organized and self-driven, with the ability to prioritize and resolve longer-term or multi-stage sourcing cases
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and Docs (Salesforce experience a plus)
Qualifications:
- 3 + years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment

About this role
Xometry's Sourcing Specialist role handles the manufacturing orders that don't fit neatly into automated systems—the complex, high-stakes projects that need hands-on problem-solving. You'd manage a portfolio of escalated cases, working directly with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to place orders across CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, additive manufacturing, and related processes. This means reviewing technical drawings, investigating why deals stall, negotiating terms, and coordinating solutions across multiple stakeholders to hit cost, quality, and delivery targets.
The role demands 3+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain work, ideally with manufacturing or industrial experience. You'll need to read engineering drawings, understand GD&T basics, and have solid knowledge of manufacturing processes. Beyond technical chops, you should be organized, self-driven, and comfortable making independent decisions—this isn't a role where you wait for direction. You'll also mentor Sourcing Coordinators on tougher cases and maintain detailed documentation for leadership visibility.
This is an in-office position in Denver with a salary range of $68,000–$75,000, plus standard benefits including 401(k) match, health insurance, paid time off, and wellness resources. It's a fit if you thrive on untangling complex supply-chain problems and want to deepen your manufacturing knowledge while working at a NASDAQ-listed company.
