About this role
OpenFX is building infrastructure for next-generation cross-border payments, and this role puts you at the center of their North American expansion. As Growth Lead, you'll own the full sales cycle for institutional clients—banks, fintechs, and financial infrastructure companies—managing everything from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close. You'll work directly with treasury, finance, and operations leaders at target accounts, positioning OpenFX's solutions as the faster, more efficient alternative to legacy cross-border payment systems.
This is a full-cycle sales role that demands both hustle and strategy. You'll build and prioritize your own pipeline, hit quarterly revenue targets, maintain accurate forecasting, and collaborate across product, engineering, legal, and marketing to navigate complex deals. The company expects you to stay close to market trends, feed client insights back to the product team, and help refine go-to-market strategy as the business scales. You'll need at least five years of quota-carrying sales experience in fintech or payments, a track record of hitting targets, and the ability to manage multi-stakeholder deals with strong communication and negotiation skills.
The ideal candidate has sold into financial institutions before, ideally with exposure to cross-border payments or treasury infrastructure, and thrives in early-stage environments where you help build sales processes from scratch. An existing network in your target buyer personas is a real advantage. The role is based in Miami and in-office, and you'd be joining a team with pedigree from J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, PayPal, and other tier-one firms, backed by top-tier investors like Accel and Lightspeed.
