We're happy you found us! We are looking for unrestricted, fully licensed therapists who are willing to provide compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental care to our clients. Must be comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software; previous telemedicine experience is a plus. Please note: If you are not currently licensed in the state of California, you must be willing to become licensed in California (we’ll help you through the process, and cover the cost).
- Conduct tele-health sessions on our platform
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and assist in treatment planning
- Develop meaningful connections with clients
- Provide personalized care tailored to individual patient needs
- Participate in monthly clinical case reviews with the Lead Psychologist
- Unrestricted independent license (LMFT, LCSW or LPCC) in good standing
- Must be able to provide tele-heath sessions
- 2+ years of direct care experience with adult individuals
- Bilingual in Spanish is not required, but a plus!

Compensation
- Clinical - $70 per 53 minute session
- Supervision - $55 per hour
- Onboarding, training, meetings, and missed/canceled appointments - $40 per hour

About this role
Mood Health is seeking a fully licensed therapist to deliver remote mental health care while taking on supervisory responsibilities for early-career clinicians. You'll conduct teletherapy sessions, complete patient assessments, and participate in monthly clinical case reviews with the organization's Lead Psychologist. The role combines direct client care with mentorship, offering the chance to guide newer therapists while deepening your own clinical leadership skills.
The position requires an unrestricted license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) in California, at least two years of direct experience with adults, and comfort with video conferencing and telemedicine platforms. Mood Health operates on a pay-per-encounter W2 model, compensating you at $70 per 53-minute session, $55 per hour for supervision, and $40 per hour for training, meetings, and administrative time. The organization covers malpractice insurance, provides clinical support and onboarding, and offers quarterly bonuses based on session availability. If you're licensed outside California, the company will cover the cost of licensure and guide you through the process.
