Description
Overview: As a Business Development Representative, your role is to find and create new sales opportunities via prospecting and conducting cold outreach. You’ll identify organizations’ current and future IT challenges to help match AvePoint products and support services to those needs. If you’re driven and eager to hit the ground running with your sales career, as well as learn about the corporate landscape, then we want to hear from you! This NYC-based role supports AvePoint’s growing business across Latin America (LATAM). Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate professionally with prospects and customers in both languages.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching, identifying, and qualifying potential customer organizations and prospects
- Positioning AvePoint effectively to facilitate a high conversion of leads to qualified pipeline opportunities by executing and communicating effective product and solution-based messaging
- Working with sales account executives to help prospect their territories
- Recording accurate customer data into our CRM system
- Conducting outbound prospecting and lead qualification activities across Latin American markets
- Engaging and communicating with prospects and customers in English and Spanish through phone, email, and social outreach

- Prior cold calling experience (preferred)

- An ability to understand technical concepts and convey them to customers
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience working with or selling into Latin American markets is a plus

The Salary Range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
