Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for active and niche requisitions using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, networking, and targeted job boards.
Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner directly with hiring managers to conduct intake calls, align on role requirements, provide candidate market guidance, and drive the interview process forward.
Candidate Experience: Deliver a seamless, professional experience for candidates, keeping them informed and engaged at every step of the hiring journey.
Pipeline & ATS Management: Maintain accurate candidate data and requisition status within the ATS, ensuring high data integrity and efficient desk management.

Adaptive Communicator: Ability to build instant rapport and communicate confidently with hiring managers, internal teams, and job candidates.
Culturally Attuned: A genuine interest in the apparel/fashion retail space and the ability to act as an authentic brand steward.
Highly Organized & Disciplined: Exceptional time-management and prioritization skills to keep multiple open roles moving steadily through the funnel simultaneously.

About this role
Perry Ellis International is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across the organization from their Miami office. You'll report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and work independently managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously—sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn and direct outreach, conducting intake calls with hiring managers, screening and scheduling interviews, and shepherding offers through to acceptance. This is a role built for someone who thrives with autonomy and doesn't need hand-holding; you'll be expected to drive requisitions forward with minimal oversight while maintaining clean ATS data and keeping candidates engaged throughout the process.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of full-cycle recruitment experience and ideally comes from apparel, fashion, or retail—or has agency recruiting background. You'll need strong communication skills to build rapport quickly with both hiring managers and candidates, a proactive "hunter" mindset to source talent rather than wait for applications, and the organizational discipline to juggle multiple roles without dropping the ball. A bachelor's degree in HR or business is preferred, along with ATS proficiency (Greenhouse experience is a plus), and bilingual English/Spanish skills are valued but not required.
Perry Ellis offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO and paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and an employee assistance program. You'll also receive discounts across their portfolio of over 40 brands, including Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, and licensed lines like Nike swimwear and Callaway golf apparel.
