About this role
EOS IT Solutions is looking for a Principal Architect to own the design and evolution of perimeter and DMZ security across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You'd define target-state architectures, establish segmentation and secure ingress/egress patterns, and lead the roadmap for how the organization exposes services securely while maintaining compliance and Zero Trust principles. This is a leadership role that bridges security, cloud, network, and middleware teams to enable developer self-service without sacrificing security posture.
The position demands 10+ years of network and security architecture experience, with hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and perimeter technologies like WAFs, next-generation firewalls, API gateways, and service mesh. You'll need strong Infrastructure-as-Code and policy-as-code skills to drive automation-first patterns, plus the communication ability to guide architectural governance and design reviews across multiple teams. Relevant certifications (CCSP, CISSP, cloud architect credentials) and familiarity with Zero Trust, API security, and observability are valued.
This is an in-office role based in the Dallas area, with hybrid flexibility across EOS locations in Plano, New York, and New Jersey. The salary range is $170,000–$200,000.
